Sire:
Sorli
fra Svadastodum
This mare is
tall, probably around 13.3, and looks to have a
sturdy build. She is just the right
age to train, and her gentle nature should make
training a breeze. She has wonderful gaits, is friendly and gets along well
with the other horses. Since her sire is silver
dapple, there is a 50% chance that she carries the silver dapple gene as
well. |
|
Hebe from Red Hill
|
Sire: Ofeigur frá Saga California
Hebe is a friendly filly with decent conformation and good
movements. She was approximately 12.2 hands tall as a yearling and
will probably be around 13.2 hands as an adult. She is broad and strong
with a floating trot, easy canter and clear tolt in transitions. She
has had some basic handling and genuinely enjoys being with people. |

Von frá Crescent Moon Farm
|
Sold!
Sire:
Flygill frá Mosfellsbć (second prize stallion) [Description as given by the owner.] Von is an energetic beauty by a well-gaited mare and a supple, easily gaited evaluated stallion. She is 13.3 hands tall at age 3 and still growing. She is five gaited with lovely movements; forward with action and reach and not pacy. Lots of mane and tail, long legs, high withers, and a well set correct neck. She ties, trims, worms and leads easily, and has just been started with long line, ground driving and tacking up. She has been socialized and gets along well with both people and horses.

Efradís frá Rivendell
|
Sire:
Flygill frá Mosfellsbć
This
is a TALL, friendly filly. Her sire is a tall evaluated four gaited
stallion with supple easy tolt. Her dam is a calm riding horse. Owner
has seen all five gaits, but she currently chooses trot at liberty.
Lots of basic ground work including leading and loading. |

Draumey frá Rivendell
Taken
August 20, 2007 |
Sire:
Flygill frá Mosfellsbć (2nd prize stallion)
Draumey is out
of a mare with tons of tolt, tolt, tolt and her offspring tend to be the
same. The sire is a tall well-conformed evaluated palomino stallion
with easy supple tolt. Draumey is not tall but her conformation,
temperament and gaits are very promising and she could reach 13 hands as an
adult. Long legs, long neck, and
supple movement. She is black but not smoky black- she has been tested for the
Cr gene but does not have it. |
|
Dukka from South Spoon
|
Sire:
Sorli
fra Svadastodum
Dukka is a
friendly filly who shows tolt. Her sire is very
personable
and also very
naturally
gaited with tolt that is easy to get
and maintain (he is also for sale on this web site
under Started/Trained Geldings). Dukka has had basic handling. She
is on the smaller side, however, 11.2 hands as a yearling.
Since
she
has two silver dapple parents, it is possible she may be homozygous for
the silver dapple color gene
(25%
chance). |

Sire: Kaftein frá Icelandic Horse Acres
If you study her markings, Skyfaxa has wings.
She is a rare combination of colors, and has inherited her sire's
gentle disposition and easy tendency to tolt. She hasn't had any
training but has had basic handling and is cooperative and friendly
without being pushy. She is 12.2 hands as a yearling so should be
well over 13 hands as an adult.

Sola frá Northstar
|
Sire:
Kolskeggur frá Stćri-bć (first prize stallion) This is a friendly and pretty young mare. Her previous owner has seen all five gaits in the pasture but at this point I see mostly a nice extended trot with some tolt mixed in and a lovely canter. She has a sturdy build with a broad back and croup and strong legs and hooves. She is halter trained and is fine with having her feet trimmed. Tons of potential. Steady with fly spray, mask, and irrigation sprinklers and will stand for pretty much anything you do with her. Full siblings have reached 13.2 as adults. She is from the old Kolkuósi line on the dam's side with the famous Ofeigur on the sire's side. Price: $3000 Owned by Dawn Shaw (NAIHBA member) Contact Dawn Shaw via E-mail or 360-275-7542 |

Lilja frá Northstar
|
Sire: Funi frá Melstađ
This is a
tall long-legged four gaited filly with a huge mane and tons of tolt.
In fact, tolt is her main way of moving around. She has a quiet
nature and can be a little shy, but is overall easy to handle. She is halter-trained and stands for
hoof trimming. Steady
with flyspray, mask, and irrigation sprinklers and will stand for pretty
much anything you do with her. She has a couple of honor prize stallions
further back in her pedigree. She is
approximately 13 hands tall, and the breeder
expects her to reach approximately 13.3 hands as an adult. Owned by Terri Malec Contact Dawn Shaw via E-mail or 360-275-7542 |

Syn Ala frá Orien Acres
|
Sire:
Vakar frá Skarđi (first prize stallion) This is an outgoing and friendly mare. She tolts and trots at liberty but could be five gaited (sire is four gaited, dam is five gaited). She is respectful when boundaries are set but could be pushy if allowed. No problem with leading, shots, worming or hoof trimming. Her owners have measured her at 13.2 and she is only two years old. I trained her mother spring 2008 and she is a brave and willing horse with a lot of natural tolt. Price: $3500 Owned by Carol Sorkness Contact Dawn Shaw via E-mail or 360-275-7542 |
|
Mánadís from Lone Cedar
|
Sire:
Máni frá Raufarfelli (first prize stallion) This is a tall long-legged filly with tons of supple natural tolt. Both parents are five gaited so she probably is as well though she is not currently showing pace. She does show trot. Her dam's offspring have all been tall and I expect Mánadís to be as well, likely reaching 13.3 hands. She'll have substance and strength but will not be coarse. She is outgoing and friendly. She is halter trained, has had her feet trimmed, has been wormed and I have started work on leading. She is, however, not overhandled.
